Pearson Engineering and Milrem Robotics tackle the challenges associated with future conflicts with autonomous engineering capability at Eurosatory 2024.
Following many successful collaborations including the integration of Pearson Engineering equipment with Milrem Robotics’ vehicles, both companies continued their collective efforts at Eurosatory 2024.
Pearson Engineering integrated their NATO-proven Light Weight Mine Roller on Milrem Robotics’ Type-X to demonstrate the role of robotic combat vehicles in delivering engineering capability for others, and the requirement to protect such assets from pressure-initiated explosives.
“We have collaborated with Milrem Robotics for many years and we were pleased to support them once again at Eurosatory. With the evolution of AI, automation, robotics and teleoperation, there is increased potential to remove soldiers from harm’s way. Pearson Engineering can apply its existing range of ground engaging Front-End Equipment to uncrewed vehicles to support mobility and survivability, or provide dedicated mission payloads to create ‘engineering variants’ of such vehicles.”

Pearson Engineering’s Mine Rollers (link – https://www.pearson-eng.com/capability/protection-and-route-proving/) have saved countless lives during more than 4,000 IED events and have been proven by many Armed Forces during conflict in Afghanistan and Iraq, underlining their effectiveness on the battlefield.
Many thanks to Milrem Robotics for their continued collaboration with Pearson Engineering.
