On the 14th August 2024, Rheinmetall's Armoured Breaching vehicle demonstrated its capabilities with Pearson Engineering's Full-Width Mine Plough in a live demonstration at the Bergen Military Training area in Germany.
During the first section of the live demonstration, the Keiler NG (Next Generation) mine clearance vehicle was fitted with Pearson Engineering’s Route Opening Mine Plough to demonstrate its ability to rapidly and safely breach minefields. Like all of our Front-End Equipment (FEE), the Route Opening Mine Plough can be rapidly swapped out in field conditions with other FEE from Pearson Engineering such as the combat dozer blade or surface clearance device.
The Keiler NG is also equipped with a Magnetic Signature Duplicator which has a proven ability to disrupt fused mines at a safe distance from the vehicle, and an Integrated Lane Marking System, which quickly and reliably marks safe lanes at the edge of hazardous areas.
Around 100 international guests from the armed forces, procurement authorities and industry attended the event.
