AUSA 2024: Pearson Engineering Attends Annual U.S. Exhibition
Last week, we had the privilege of attending AUSA 2024 in the United States.
AUSA is the largest land defence exhibition in North America. Taking place over three days, the Annual Meeting is designed to deliver the Army’s message whilst highlighting the capabilities of organisations and presenting a wide range of industry products and services.
Throughout the three-day show, we actively participated in discussions surrounding our key products for the U.S. market including SLICE, RCV-Pioneer and Threat-Sense. SLICE is our internationally proven vehicle interface kit, bringing engineering capability and independent manuver to fighting vehicles. RCV-Pioneer offers a versatile suite of mission payloads tailored specifically for Robotic Combat Vehicles (RCVs). Threat-Sense provides essential identification capabilities for both military vehicles and UAVs.
A particular highlight of our participation was the prominent display of RCV-Pioneer at the booths of our U.S. partners. General Dynamics Land Systems displayed our Urban Obstacle Clearance Mission Payload on their immersive naked-eye 3D LED display. Over on Textron’s booth, our RCV-Pioneer animation was displayed on one of their screens. View the animation here.
On the eve of AUSA, the defence media awards brought together journalist, reporters, editors and industry in a showcase of the critical role of communications in our industry. We would like to extend our congratulations to participants from around the world who won awards for the quality of their work.
The British Ambassador, Dame Karen Pierce DCMG and the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General David Eastman MBE, hosted their annual AUSA reception again this year. Pearson Engineering was delighted to attend and take advantage of the opportunity to meet senior U.S. and British Army staff as well as many senior defence industry colleagues.
We look forward to attending AUSA 2025.
