Pearson Engineering recently attended a careers event at Thornhill Academy in Sunderland to engage with students and discuss the exciting engineering opportunities available within our company.
The event provided a platform to highlight the importance of pursuing STEAM careers and the critical role these skills play in driving innovation and growth across various industries.
Throughout the day, approximately 600 students attended the event, eager to learn more about potential career paths in engineering. Our team had the privilege of speaking with aspiring young engineers, sharing insights into the diverse range of disciplines offered at Pearson Engineering. We were impressed by the students’ enthusiasm and their thoughtful questions about the challenges and rewards of a career in engineering.
We look forward to continuing our outreach efforts to schools and colleges in the region, promoting the importance of STEAM education and encouraging young people to pursue their passions in engineering.
