Pearson Engineering has introduced an updated civil defence variant of the company’s successful Super Light Weight Roller, the SLWR(C).
The SLWR(C) is designed specifically for civil defence, where limited maintenance resource is available, whilst retaining all of the key performance parameters and quality expected from a Pearson Engineering Counter-IED roller system. The new variant takes into account the requirements of those operating in dangerous environments and provides a significant level of Counter-IED Protection to Forces during Peace Keeping and Security missions.
The news follows an announcement earlier this year that Pearson Engineering has created a range of Tactical Systems for Civil Defence. Whilst continuing to develop capability for the ever changing Combat Engineer community, the announcement signalled the company’s intent to diversify into adjacent markets in anticipation of wider requirements.
With a focus firmly on providing flexibility and adaptability to Defence and Security Forces, Pearson Engineering’s Tactical Systems include mobile barriers, Counter-IED protection, obstacle clearance and tactical access systems for elevated operations.
