Officers and soldiers from 4 SCOTS Light Aid Detachment (LAD) of 4th Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland recently visited Pearson Engineering.
The visit was hosted by our Head of UK Land Defence Manufacturing and was organised to provide a background into the history of Pearson Engineering and the equipment manufactured at our site for the British Armed Forces.
The team from 4 SCOTS LADs received a presentation followed by a factory tour, presenting some of our core products including Full Width Mine Plough, Mine Rollers and Combat Dozer Blades. During the visit we were able to further strengthen the link between our proven, life-saving Front-End Equipment (FEE) and the manufacturing processes here at Armstrong Works.
We would like to thank the Detachment for making the journey to Armstrong Works in Newcastle upon Tyne. It’s always a pleasure to meet users and maintainers of our equipment.
