Following acquisition of the Armstrong Works building in 2024, Pearson Engineering has recently launched a dedicated Armstrong Works website to honour the site’s rich history.
Earlier this year, we (Pearson Engineering) acquired Armstrong Works, a local landmark and recognised symbol of British engineering for over 170 years. Armstrong Works continues to contribute actively to international defence with both Pearson Engineering and Responsive Engineering headquartered at the site.
To celebrate our ownership, we have launched a dedicated Armstrong Works website to explore and honour the site’s rich history of engineering and manufacturing excellence in the North East of England. The site also displays information about our social value impact and the latest news from across both Pearson Engineering and Responsive Engineering.
