Officer cadets from Northumbrian Universities Officer's Training Corps (NUOTC) visited Pearson Engineering at Armstrong Works earlier this month (November 2024).
NUOTC recruit students from five universities across the North East of England (Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland and Teesside) to become Reservists.
The visit provided a platform to help the officer cadets to develop a wider understanding of our industry, products and the world of work.
The officer cadets who attended the visit are nearing the end of their university courses, many of whom are studying STEAM-related courses, with many studying Engineering. To further support the attendees’ intended career paths following graduation, one of our business development graduates gave a presentation on their journey from university to joining Pearson Engineering.
