Pearson Engineering brief Malaysian Army at DSA Exhibition
Pearson Engineering recently attended Defence Services Asia exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where the opportunity was taken to brief Malaysia's Defence Minister Hishamuddin Hussein on the capability Pearson Engineering can offer to Land Forces.
Michael Jordan, Sales and Marketing Manager for Pearson Engineering was also able to speak to General Affendi, Chief of the Malaysian Army and Major General Nasser, Chief of Engineers at the exhibition.
The exhibition, held at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur was the focus of Asia’s Defence Community from the 14th – 17th April and was well attended by many officials from Malaysia as well as neighbouring countries such as Thailand, Brunei and Singapore.
Pearson Engineering briefed visitors on its Assured Mobility Systems, the company’s modular capability concept which allows Counter-IED, Counter-Mine, Route Proving, Combat Earth Moving and Assault Bridging equipment to be quickly attached, detached and interchanged on a host vehicle allowing Commanders the flexibility to adapt his resources to the task at hand.
Modular and interchangeable products, which include Mine Ploughs, Combat Dozer Blades, Earth Anchor Blades, Excavator Arms, Bridge Launch Mechanisms, Mine Rollers, Surface Clearance Devices, Obstacle Marker Systems, C-IED Route Clearance Equipment and Vehicle Remote Control Systems, reduce the need for specifically designed vehicles to be deployed for specific tasks and provide the flexibility to defeat the wide range of threats faced, assuring mobility in theatre.
