Pearson Engineering attended the first Combat Engineering Exhibition in Larkhill in March 2024 where we demonstrated one of our AI-led products, Threat-Sense.
Motivated by events in Ukraine during which vehicles were fixed in position by air-delivered scatterable-mines and then subjected to artillery fire, Threat-Sense was developed to provide enhanced situation awareness in complex and austere environments.
Threat-Sense provides any military vehicle or unmanned ariel vehicle (UAV) with the ability to detect and identify surface-laid mines and threats with confidence. Threat-Sense is powered by Pearson Engineering’s fully trainable in-house synthetic library, allowing us to extend the variety of threats per user requirements.
During the event, Pearson Engineering demonstrated Threat-Sense to over 30 delegations from 15 countries including a large number of UK MoD representatives from the Field Army, DE&S, DSTL and other land organisations.
Threat-Sense is part of Pearson Engineering’s next-generation of products providing engineering capability in a remote and autonomous world. Learn more about Threat-Sense.
