Pearson Engineering Limited were delighted to host a visit by Brigadier Greg McGlone, Director General Armoured Fighting Vehicles from the Australian Defence Force (ADF) last week.
The visit included briefings on Pearson Engineering’s capabilities and their sizeable contribution to the forthcoming ADF land vehicle programmes. The visit also covered Australian Industrial Content for the programmes and consideration of equipment through life support.
Brigadier McGlone met the Pearson Engineering Board of Directors and toured the factory, taking the opportunity to see some of the front-end equipment that had been used during the recent ADF risk reduction demonstration activity, as well as talking to shop floor staff and engineers.
Richard Beatson, the Pearson Engineering Business Development Director, commented that “It was a pleasure to host Brigadier Greg at the Armstrong Works this week; he was able to view Pearson’s combat engineering capabilities and discuss our major contribution to the ADF’s future programmes. Such visits are vital to the sustainment of strong relationships between ourselves and our overseas military customers”.
